⮚ Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Local Exploration Arrive in the picturesque city of Srinagar, often referred to as the Lake City. Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative or driver. After completing the check-in formalities, you will begin a sightseeing tour of the city. Discover the beauty of the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), and Chasme Shahi Garden. Also, visit the ancient Shankaracharya Temple. Conclude your evening with a relaxing shikara ride on Dal Lake, followed by an overnight stay on a houseboat in Srinagar.

⮚ Day 2: Srinagar – Sonmarg Excursion (90 Kms / Approx 3 Hours Drive – One Way) Start your day with breakfast on the houseboat or hotel and set off for a day trip to the beautiful Sonmarg, which is a scenic drive from Srinagar. Make stops at captivating locations along the way and proceed to Sonamarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” Here, you can enjoy horse riding to Thajiwas Glacier, where you’ll find snow year-round. Sonmarg, which serves as a gateway to Ladakh, provides trekking opportunities to remote villages like Naranag and alpine lakes such as Vishansar and Krishansar. In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at a hotel.

⮚ Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg (60 km / Approx 1½ Hours Drive) After breakfast, travel through the countryside to Gulmarg, driving past colorful villages and rice paddies that offer a glimpse into the cultural fabric of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of India’s premier hill stations, known for having the world’s highest golf course and Asia’s largest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. It is also a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding in winter. Enjoy an 8-minute cable car ride on the Gulmarg Gondola, taking in the stunning views, before heading back down for an overnight stay at a Gulmarg hotel.

⮚ Day 4: Gulmarg to Pahalgam (140 km / Approx 4 Hours Drive) Following breakfast, travel to Pahalgam, referred to as the ‘Valley of Shepherds’ or ‘Trekker’s Paradise.’ Along the way, stop to see the Saffron fields, the ancient Awantipur ruins (a 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu constructed by King Awantiverma), and take in the rural landscapes and rice fields. Once in Pahalgam, check into your hotel. Post lunch, enjoy a gentle walk to soak in the spectacular mountain scenery. Stay overnight in Pahalgam, with dinner at the hotel.

⮚ Day 5: Pahalgam Sightseeing and Exploration Post breakfast, head out to explore the rocky and scenic valley of Chandanwadi and Snow Point, about 14 km from Pahalgam. Consider taking a thrilling pony ride to enhance your experience (note that this cost is not included). Spend the evening walking around Pahalgam before returning to your hotel for dinner. Remember, in Pahalgam, only local taxis are allowed for sightseeing; external vehicles can only be used for pick-up and drop-off.

⮚ Day 6: Pahalgam to Srinagar Airport Drop (100 Km / Approx. 3½ Hour Drive) Enjoy your final buffet breakfast, check out from the hotel, and make your way back to Srinagar Airport for your departure. Important note: Due to strict security checks, it’s recommended to leave the hotel at least 4 hours prior to your flight, as you will need to pass through four security barriers, which can cause delays.
