⮚ Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar Airport or Jammu Railway Station – Transfer to Pahalgam

After arriving at Srinagar airport, you will be picked up and transported to Pahalgam. Should you come through Jammu Railway Station or Airport, you will similarly be welcomed and escorted to Pahalgam. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel for a night’s rest.

⮚ Day 2: Pahalgam – Chandanwari – Sheshnag

Leave Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds, for Chandanwari. Starting from Pahalgam, you’ll travel to Chandanwari (2896 Mts.), a tranquil valley at the confluence of the Sheshnag and Astanmarg streams. Here, start a 13 km trek up to Sheshnag (3576 Mts.), passing through Pissu Ghati, reaching the scenic Sheshnag Lake noted for its fresh winds. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in tents at Sheshnag.

⮚ Day 3: Sheshnag – Panchtarni – Amarnath – Panchtarni

Begin your trek at Sheshnag, heading towards Panchtarni (3657 Mts.) across the Mahagunas Pass (3200 Mts.) and proceed through a milder trail to Panchtarni. From there, continue for another 6 kms to the sacred Amarnath cave. Outside the cave, you may take a plunge in the cold waters of the Amarnath stream, and inside, witness the majestic ice formations of Lord Shiva, Parvathi, and Ganesh. After visiting the cave, return to Panchtarni for dinner and another night in tents.

⮚ Day 4: Panchtarni – Baltal

Depart early for the Amarnath Holy cave (3953 M) to see the revered Ice Lingam, especially popular during the full moon. From Amarnath, take a steep descent to Baltal, a journey of about 4 hours. Spend the night at Paradise Camping in Baltal.

⮚ Day 5: Baltal – Srinagar

Depart from Baltal in the morning for Srinagar. You can choose to stop at Manas Bal Lake and Khear Bawani Temple for an additional cost, or head directly to Srinagar where you will spend the night at a hotel.

Post breakfast, you will be driven to the airport to catch your onward flight.
